The legend of Wars and Sawa

In Istanbul, Comenius team presented short drama based on the Polish legend of Wars and Sawa. The legend about love between a human and a mermaid. I hope you enjoy it.

School festival of Projects in Bialystok

June 17th - it was a special day in our school. Many school projects were presented during that day. Students prepared some films, photo presentations, posters or even comics. Our Comenius team showed pictures from trip to Ireland, Spain, Turkey and Slovakia. Students wanted to popularize 2-year activity of Comenius Projectin our school. There were many posters and cards prepared by students. We did not forget to show presents that we got from our partners.

Final international program

In the last visit in Vráble in Slovakia on 29th May we organized Final international program of our project.

Participants from each school presented national heroes, legends in short drama, national dances, songs and traditions.

We could also see some films about school activities of some partners and final film about project activities and exchange visits.

Cú Chulainn

Children's Paintings of Some Legends from Our European Partners

Here are some paintings from CBS Primary, Tralee depicting our Comenius Partners' legends. These paintings were prepared for our Comenius mobility to Slovakia in May 2014. There are 4 legends in all. The Maiden Tower legend from Turkey, The legend of Wars and Sawa from Poland, the Slovak legend of Juro Jánošík and the legend of La Cabra D'Or from Catalonia.

Clann Lir - An Irish Legend

While we were in Slovakia each partner school presented a drama about a native legend. The legend we choose from Ireland is called "The Children of Lir" and it was preformed by the children of Fourth Class (Room 16). Ms Barry, Mr O Connor, Ms O Regan all worked together to produce, direct and publish the video. There are a few well known faces from our school making cameo appearances in the video also.
